Naturally formed Arches ..who wud have this could have been a tourist attraction!!!
Zion NP
We went trekking and reached the peak called Angels Landing approx 1100Ft high. This was probably the craziest trek I ever did, there was one stretch which can be seen behind me, where we could climb by holding on to chains that were spiked into the wall. I actually slipped just once and it was the most horrifying few microseconds in my life.
I reached the peak behind me in the attached photo and after reaching my goal I really felt good. It was as if I was one with Nature.
I saw a man carrying his baby on his BACK and climbing down the peak... I wouldn't be risking my child's life in such things though.
Checkerboard Mesa
On the way from Zion NP to Bryce NP there is this natural checkerboard formed naturally by erosion.
Bryce NP
This is by far the best canyon I have ever seen. I rate this better than Grand Canyon in terms of taking my breath away and grandeur.
The vertical rock formations you see in my pics are called HOODOOS. Nice name right ;-)
